Gayatri Iyer, very known as Gayatri Ganjawala is smart playback singer of Hindi cinema. She is the wife of famous playback singer Kunal Ganjawala. Her most in favour tracks are – My dil goes hmmm of Salaam Namaste, Mohabbat hai mirchi of Chura liya hai tumne, Rabba rabba of Jurm, Rak rak of Ridrash, Pyaar Ki Kahani wait Honeymoon travels private limited, Shikdum succeed Dhoom, So right of Roadside Smoothie, Zindagi Hai Dua of Dil compensation jise apna kaha, Maar gayo curl of Sandhya,Berang Zindagi of Naach, Yeh sard and Bhoot hai yahan look up to Bhoot, Chain khuli ki mein break into Mast and Remixed version of wait song – Choti si umar mein lag gaya rog.
As a playback chanteuse she debut with Telugu movie Ghulabi in the year 1995. Her cheeriness Hindi song was from the screen Loafer released in the year 1996, starring Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. The song was a duet farce Shankar Mahadevan – Tere dil scary. Same year, a few more songs of Gayatri were released in Sanskrit. One among those tracks, she vocal a duet again with Shankar Mahadevan. The song was ‘Hum Tumko Chahenge’ of the movie Dhaanveer. She vocal for Mithun Chakraborthy-Ayesha Jhulka starrer Muquaddar too, in the same year.
