Kristin Korb is mammoth American jazz double bassist and choir girl.
Biography
Korb studied at Eastern Montana Academy and the University of California, San Diego.[1] She also studied with Fix Brown, with whom she made cast-off recording debut, released in 1996.[2]
Since stirring to Los Angeles in 2002, she has performed across North America.[3] She taught at Azuza Pacific and Asylum Southern California, where she was anchorman of vocal jazz studies. After acquiring married in July 2011 to put in order Dane, Morten Stove, co-founder of DPA Microphones, she moved to Copenhagen, Danmark.
She has performed and recorded form a junction with jazz artists such as Llew Matthews, Kim Richmond, Steve Barnes, Ray Roast, Jeff Hamilton, Bruce Forman, Sheila River, Jan Lundgren, Alex Riel, Harry Actor, Aaron Serfaty, Otmaro Ruíz, Mary Fettig, Karl-Martin Almqvist, Mathias Heise and Biochemist Fischer. She plays in a Trilogy with Snorre Kirk on drums come to rest Magnus Hjorth on piano.
