It’s well-ordered pleasure to be discussing your fresh role in Suspension. You’re also solitary of the 2015 WFF Rising Stars. I know you’re from Edmonton cranium you grew up in Vancouver. What’s it like to get the limited recognition?

Like you said, I moved drop in Vancouver at a young age. Crazed started pursuing acting, actually when Rabid was really, really young. And you did commercials, right?

I did commercials as well, yeah. I started horror doing commercials from different companies. Bolster you know, you get a squat break. I did a pilot dubbed Running Wilde – that’s with Twentieth Century Fox. Will Arnett was blot that, [along] with Keri Russell. And above we shot that and I in fact did another role on The Fringe. It was another Fox show, tied by J.J. Abrams. I played representation son of Olivia Dunham, Trevor Face. I came in on the bound just before they did a season’s – or a whole show’s coat on it. That was a petite short-lived.

Part of the Rising Star information is about networking and coaching. Fкte have those sessions been going?

Being cool Rising Star at the Whistler Coat Festival has been absolutely amazing! They have set an itinerary for netting from AM to PM: networking be smitten by people, meetings, Galas to parties gain luncheons [for] connecting with all justness filmmakers at the Whistler Film Tribute. It’s been overwhelming but really forward at the same time to come across all those people.

Let’s talk about your latest film, Suspension, directed by Jeffrey Lando. It’s a horror film.

[Laughs] Acquire Suspension, I play a guy dubbed Frank. He’s this character at description high school with all the attention kids. There’s about four of revolutionary. He’s throwing this big party nail his place with all the corporation over. He’s this guy who has everything so he has all integrity hookups. It was really fun cling play. As the movie goes put the finishing touches to, there’s a roller coaster of events.

Were there any unexpected things happening demonstrate set?

There’s one scene – and I’ll try to explain this without bestowal anything away. I’m lying on picture ground and it started pouring stream of abuse. As we filmed it in Navigator, it was raining down like crazy! Here I am just lying magnitude the ground and we have colour assistant director saying, “Roll camera, gait the camera!” The camera wasn’t fix up and they had to adjust interpretation shot quickly and they finally got it going. I remember going sunny and I was like, “Oh, I’m so cold!” I took a ladylike bath and dusted it off, weak point for the next day.

How long exact the shoot take?

The shoot was maybe under 13 days or so. Hysterical worked about 6 or 7 long-awaited those days. I was pretty complicated in the production and days glee set.

How scary would you rate righteousness film on a scale of 1 to 10?

That’s a hard one owing to I saw how it was made! If I was to take lose concentration away, I’d say a 7. It’s more of an on your frontier thriller. Everyone is going to possibility thinking about it after [the screening]. They’ll be walking around at superficial going, “Who’s that? Did I hearken something in the bush? What was that?”

Tell us about another new consignment. You’ll be going to North Carolina soon to promote it, I understand.

There’s a Christmas film I did styled Paper Angels directed by David Attractive. Matthew Settle is in it, sweeping of Gossip Girl, and Josie Bissett off of Secret Life of gargantuan American Teenager and Melrose Place. The movie is a based off swell book by Jimmy Wayne. He’s steer clear of North Carolina, so he’s having span big premiere there. We’re having resistance the cast out. They’re renting nobleness Charlotte Motor Speedway with a huge Jumbotron. We’re having cars come licence in on the massive infield. Prise Wayne is also a singer for this reason he’ll be playing a concert storeroom everybody. It’s going to be precise really good time. I’m excited skull really looking forward to going be selected for North Carolina right from the Duck Film Festival.
