Career

Zolghadr of late teaches at the Center for lifethreatening Studies, Bard College, New New Royalty Since 2004, Zolghadr has curated concerns at Cubitt London, IASPIS Stockholm, Kunsthalle Geneva, various Tehran artspaces, the Affiliated Arab Emirates pavilion at the Metropolis Biennale and other venues. He was co-curator of the Taipei Biennial deed the International Sharjah biennial 2005. Zolghadr grew up in Tehran, Zurich, Northand West Africa.

He studied Comparative Literature emphasis Geneva, then worked as a ethnic journalist and translator before starting take care of work as a freelance art judge and curator.

Achievements

  • He is co-founder of the Tehran-based feminist online magazine Bad Jens (1999) and co-director of "Tehran 1380" (with Solmaz Shahbazi), a documentary on all-inclusive housing estates in Tehran (2001).
